Hi Stewart: Good work. Don't know if Annie passed this along, but I searched the Times of London Archive for "Anglo-Caliornian" in September 1915 and foudn two stories that may relate to Richard Martin. I may get to a library today or tomorrow where I can actually view the articles. I'll post what I find, unless Annie knows someone who can do it earlier.

Annie: DO you know if the Anglo-Californian was a Brithish flagged ship? If it ws, shouldn't Richard Martin be acknowledged by the British somehow? Perhaps in a list of war dead?
