1841/1851 census look up please

If anyone gets a spare minute, I wonder if they may be able to help I am looking for Margaret Llewellyn who was born abt 1832 in Troes, Glamorgan, her fathers name is Hopkin Llewellyn. I do have her from 1861 onwards but need her from the 1841 & 1851 glamorgan census in order to get her mothers/siblings names.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Sara, I don't know of Troes Glamorgan, where exactly is it ??

Hi Rowley

Its sometimes spelt troes/treos/treoes just to be complicated. It comes under Llangan and is just south of Bridgend

The only combo of a Margaret with father Hopkin is in Penlline in 1841 - and she's age 12 - do you want it transcribed ?

HO107/1423/16;Penlline; District: 11; Folio: 10; Page: 11
Pentrlelyn~ ? Road, next to Kings Head.

Thank you for the information - i'm not sure if this family is mine or not as there is no Margaret. Perhaps if anyone can look up this particular family on the 1841 she may be with them then.

Just trying to check where penlline is now - and although its not the area they should be in if you could kindly let me have the details so I can note them down. This family is proving to be a little elusive! Otherwise the only other option I can think is perhaps she is with a different family member on the census
