 Hi Matilda,

         What about this marriage :)

Mar 1886 Tryphena Hurn, other names on page John Hopkins, Margaret Murphy and
                 Charles Nutley at Kensington
                    Vol  1a    Page 262

Looks like it was John Hopkins who married Tryphena - see RG12; Piece: 547; Folio 112; Page 25.  Both John and Tryphena were born in Horsley Gloucestershire

I knew I had heard Horsley already!

Matilda's suggestion for the Hearns in 1871:
Newent, Gloucs.
Taken on the road, slept in Parish
Edmund Herne  H  M  50  Gypsy  Northampton Easton
Jemima Herne  W  55  ?Stenphton Leicestershire
Alice Smith  Step dau  35  Nothampton Rusnity?  (Have no knowledge of Northampton, so can't guess!)
Ziphenth Herne  S  21  Northampton  Ringstead
Triente Herne  D  18  Lincoln Peterboro
Urania Herne  D  16  Lincoln Market Deeping
Mansell Herne S  12  Northampton Welford
Madonna Smith Gdau  16  Northampton Lutton
Stephen Smith Gson  11  Cambridge Ely

Not sure with these names ;) so if anyone else wants to try please feel free! Yes this is my family's e seen this before aswell I think mansell / manville and I think Alice was Jemimas daughter from her previous marriage
