Ancestry 1901 census
« on: Thursday 03 February 05 12:11 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Does anyone know when Ancestry's 1901 census will include Yorkshire? ???

It just keeps saying 'coming soon'! I'm trying to be patient and , as I need to buy some more credits, I want to combine it with looking up a few new queries on the other years. If it's a matter of weeks, I'll be good and wait but otherwise I'll have to hang the expense and go onto the National Archives site.  :o
Jill.
HELP!!!

 BATHSHEBA BOOTHROYD bn c. 1802 W. Yorks.

Baptism nowhere to be found. Possibly in a nonconformist church near ALMONDBURY or HUDDERSFIELD.

Have a go. It seems to be on now. Was your relative born in Yorkshire. The resident drop down hasn't been upgraded. Images are there too. I've used it today!! ;)

It is a fact but one will have to enter the town name as the entry of Yorkshire is N/A. I just checked and my great-uncle is there, at last [although I had previously found his details on the goverment pay site]  :)
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.
