When John Leach age 23 married Elizabeth Leaf age 21 on 11 December 1865 at Temple, Bristol

His father George Leach - Millwright

Her father Henry Leaf - Sawyer

Neither could write.

Witnesses are John Thomas and Henry Jones Baker - they also signed the previous entry so probably not related.

John may have fibbed a little on his marriage information he was born before his mother married.

George Bristow married Ann Leach 1844 registered Bedminster

meaning Illegitimate.

Frocester is in this registration district.

They had a number of children Phoebe died 1843 age 38. reg. Bedminster
He married Ann Leach 1844 reg. Bedminster
