The Limericks of Derry

Hi, hope some one can help me.I am researching my family tree and have gotten as far back as my great great grandfather.My family are from Inishowen(Redcastle) and I am trying to locate some Limericks.

1. Margaret Limerick; she married my gr gr gr grandfather Charles Doherty from Inishowen circa1840,s? and moved eventually to Glasgow where she died.Her parents were Robert Limerick(shoemaker) and Catherine.She was born circa 1815/20?

2.Sally Limerick who was in the Griffiths for Ballylawn Inishowen for 1857.There was also a Robert Limerick( brother,son?) in the same area.Sally was alive and in Redcastle in 1867 as she was present at a relatives birth.

From some research online I have found that there are 2 Limerick families in Donegal for the Griffiths and 5 in Derry (Tamlagh Finlagan).I presume that they are all the same family as the surname seems to be quite rare.
Any info on births ,marriages or deaths would be extremely appreciated!There is a Robert Limerick who was born in 1801 in Ballykelly who might be Margaret,s father.
If anyone can help please do as this is one of the last pieces and it is driving me mad

on my grgr grandparents marriage cert. one of the witnesses is a PATRICK LIMERICK. they married in 1858 in derry.

   Parents John Limerick and Margaret Jane Kerr of Ballykelly.
 Children, Samuel, George, John,Margaret Kincade, Sarah, Matthew and James Kerr, born between 1867  and 1880

George Limerick , Ballykelly died 1865
Nancy Limerick, Ballykelly died 1866

Also have various names for Londonderryif they are of any help.

Hi,any info on any Limerick would be  great.I know that margaret Limerick,s parents were Robert and Catherine as they are the names on her death cert.
I think the Robert Limerick who lived in Inishowen was her brother.Sally(or Sarah)I am not sure  in what way she is related.

maryderry and agadowey thanks very much for that info.It is although info that I already have.I think that Robert is Margaret Limericks brother as her father was Robert also(as on her death cert).
Sally (Sarah?) could be a sister,as she moved to Ballyargus and Robert was in Ballylawn and also Robert named a daughter Sarah.
Margarets mother was Catherine so I dont think Sally is her mother.Sally was present at the birth of my great grandfather James Doherty in Ballyargus in 1867 and she could have been 20,40,or 60!
You wouldnt think that it would be that hard to find a Limerick in Derry by that name as it isnt a hugely common name.
If any one comes across anything else PLEASE let me know!

Thanks Kingskerswell for that but,unfortunately there is no Robert and Catherine or Margaret and Charles Doherty.God, they are so elusive,where have they gone!
It was far easier to get all the Dohertys and theres a million and one of them!
If you come across any births that would be brilliant also
