William Henry Corrin

Hi,
I am trying to find birth of William Henry Corrin born in Douglas, IOM abt 1883 to William Charles & Annie Corrin (nee Corrin). I have had registry search done from 1878-1885 inclusive with no luck, can anyone help? Thanks, Gill

Presumably   you  have  looked  at   Brian  Lawson's  index   on    www.iomfhs.im         Look   for  research/

births     ----IOM  reg  births.

These  same  parents  had   Amy    /  DOU   389   /  26th   Sept.   1882   &

Eleanor  Maud /  DOU   515  /   7th  May   1885.

Thanks for that Voirrey M, I also have Walter Bromley,  May  & james Binney Corrin.
 These all have a birth reference by their names but William Henry Corrin does not for some reason & we have as yet found no trace of his birth as I said having searches done from 1878-1885 (incl). William Charles & Annie Corrin married in 1876 where Annie is down as a minor, I wonder heither she was pregnant ( possibly with William Henry) as we haven't searched 1876-1877. It is most frustrating. Thanks

Compulsory  registration  was  not  introduced  in  IOM  until  1878   however  there  are  some  earlier  ones

but   very  few.   Do  you   have   the   marriage  details  &  baptism  of  bride?
