LEITH, Jones & Farquharson marriage

hi folks

This is for a friend...

trying to trace marriage certificate of Robert William Jones and Elizabeth Spence Farquharson marriage date February 13th or 15th 1885 Edinburgh. as marked on their son Joe's birth record........I've tried Scotlands people but no luck......I'm trying to find out who Robert and Elizabeths parents were.......appreciate any help or advice

When was Joe born and where?  Was he Joe on his birth cert or Joseph

I've just found them on the 1901 - he was b 1894 Edinburgh

Robert was b England 1866 and Elizabeth Edinburgh 1864

Eldest son Andrew was b Edinburgh 1886

yes thats them but I would like to try and find Roberts parents names and Elizabeths parents names....thats why I'm trying to trace marriage cert, but no luck on Scottish people

I think this is Elizabeth on the 1881 Scottish census for Midlothian

great thanks for that ...yes I put 1883-1885 on scottish people but nothing came up at all

just found marriage certificate on Scottish people after all....I just omitted Robert altogether and just put Elizabeth's name .......quite difficult to read but at leat I've got it........just need to find out where in England Robert was born..

There is an extracted record on IGI for a Robert William Jones birth date 23 MAR 1865 and 
christening on  16 APR 1865 at  Saint Leonards, Shoreditch, London, England
Parents were Father:  ROBERT JONES  and Mother:  MARY ANN 

There is another extracted record, birth 16 NOV 1867 and christening 10 DEC 1867   Saint Andrew, Holborn, London, England. Parents were Father:  ROBERT JONES and Mother:  SARAH ANN
