Welcome to Rootschat.
Civil registration of births in Ireland started in 1864 so there will be no birth certificate for Mary Ann.
Until you find where in Ireland (parish if not actual townland) she came from you won't be able to start looking for church records (if they exist).
Do her marriage and/or death certificates give any details like birthplace, names of parents, etc.? Do you know when she went to Australia and did she go on her own?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

she may appear in a directory - e.g. Slaters if she was a schoolteacher.

there are a few Peakes listed in the Dublin section Slaters 1881 - including a Teacher named Ellen, ..

Peak Miss Bessie, 37 Eccles st
Peake Ellen A. day school, 7 Iona ter. South Circular rd
Peake John S. marshal in the Recorder's Court; house,11 Belgrave rd. Rathmines
Peake William, clerk, 7 Iona ter. South Circular rd

for Co. Antrim
M'Peake Joseph, cooper, Crumlin

for Belfast
McPeak Thomas, provision dealer, 48 Matilda st
McPeake Robett, grocer & spirit dealer, 100 New Lodge Rd. and Robina st
McPeake Win. clerk, 41 Limestone rd

from an analysis of Griffiths (land occupiers and lease valuation of in Ireland - 1848-1864), might give some ideas on where to look...

McPeak 5 / all in Co. Tyrone
Peak     6 /  5 Co. Down, 1 Co. Tyrone
Peck      2 /  1 in Co. Cork, in Co. Kilkenny
Peek     1 /  in Co. Kilkenny

hi lyn,

i could only find 4 townland names for hollyhill, if it is a townland;

4 in county cork and one in county tyrone.

the holly hill on the letter mightn't be a townland, hopefully it is, but this might help you track them down.

hi candie
The Holly Hill you mention could be in Lavey Parish in Co Derry.  There are still McPeake's living there
