Hi

Thanks again and for your help :-)

I,ve checked the Newcastle online marriage registers
1861-70 none
1871-80 none
for Cassidy.

I just don't know where to look...?

Maybe they did,nt get married  //Cassidy & Donkin ?

Regards
Hendon

Ive checked the complete marriage regs for England and Wales 1866, 1867, 1868,1869,1870 for Cassidy in case the Johnson marriage wasn't in Newcastle and can't find anything.

Already did Newcastle earlier - is it complete?

Is that birth cert clearly written?  Something a bit odd here, maybe

Checked Johnson/Cassidy/Donkin and all variations....

very puzzling.

I see son John is John T on one census, have tried to find him in 1871 census under any surname...

Could be Joseph's birth?:

Jun Qu 1875  Sunderland    10a   737
 Johnson    Joseph Thomas

can't see him in 1881 census under that name, so maybe Ann Johnson married 1875-1881

 Hi Tricia & Ecneps

Thankyou for your help !

I,m not sure if the Newcastle records are complete ?

The birth certificate is a copy and there is name fault
for David Donkin   the name written is Davison. I,ve assumed
it should have been written David ?

I,ll ask the Sunderland registrars who the parents were for
Joseph Donkin b jun 1875..... Maybe ????

Thankyou Tricia for going through all those records :-)

regards
Hendon

Hi !

I was informed by the sunderland registrars
upon my inquiry concerning Joseph Thomas Johnson
born Jun quarter 1875 Sunderland asking if the
mothers name was Ann  (nee Cassidy)
which sad to say was not the case :-(
Back to the drawing board !
Any suggestions are most welcome !

regards //Hendon
