Can't find him on WW1 records
« on: Friday 14 November 08 13:16 GMT (UK) »
Please can anyone help?
I am trying to trace any records my late Great Uncle. I do have his grave details from the Commonwealth Graves, but would  like to find him on the medal rolls or service records.

Private Luke Sarsfield 1533
RAMC Unit 1st West Lancs Field Amb.
Died 21 Nov 1915  aged 22
buried at Alexandria Military and War Cemetery Egypt.

Thank you

Hello CU,

Before 1st Jan 1916, (3) is Egypt.
There is a full list here:

I can't help you with the references at the bottom. I believe they are "Clerk Speak", known only to very few.  :D
