The earliest (FreeBMD) Basford District marriage of a John R to an Elizabeth is in 1851; so either the older kids are from a previous marriage, or they married elsewhere (not in Radford Dist either) - you might have to get a childs Birth Cert to ascertain Elizabeth's maiden / former surname ...

ah, his wife's christian name isnt shown in 1851 ... and just Hannah and Mary kids are there, so no previous ...

Mrs Robinson now says PoB Nottingham, aged 28 - so probably the same Elizabeth ....
