Dear K.N.,

Thanks for your reply!  Based on the information from B.S., which she was given by the genealogical service that she used, my paternal grandfather Michael was a brother of John Roddy.  The basic information on the Roddy family that i have is organised by using an application called Mac Reunion, an application for Apple Mac computers.  I could only send that to you electronically, if you have the same application on a Mac computer, which is probably unlikely.  The best and fastest solution, therefore, would be to send you by snail mail a chart (or charts), printed from the application.  I will be happy to do so, but will need your postal address, which you could send me by private message, via rootschat.  (I presume, as a first-time user of rootschat, that this is possible}.  Please note that the Michael Roddy in question is my grandfather, not my great grandfather.  I retired two years ago, so am what is referred to as a senior citizen!

Dear Eala

Haven't heard anything from you - maybe my personal message to you was lost on the way, or maybe you haven't made enough posts on RootsChat to view PMs?

Either way, my PM to you was a resounding 'yes please', I'd love to see the research that you kindly offered to share.  Could you try to send me a PM, with your email address then I'll be able to contact you.

You need to make at least 3 posts to use PM (personal message) system:

Hi eala

You can make a chart in Reunion and save it as a jpg file which can be emailed and read by someone on a PC.  If you go to the pull down menu 'Create' and choose the type of chart you want and then go to the pulldown menu 'File' and choose 'save graphic file' - then it will ask you which type of graphic file - choose jpeg and that should be it!  Hope this makes sense to you!
