William Rendall born 1821 Winsham or Street Somerset baker
Ann Rendall wife born 1818 Shipton Gorge Dorset
Elizabeth Rendall born 1849 Allington  Dorset
 living Allington

and
Charles Rendall born Jan 1786 in Seavington St Michael Somerset  occupation Blacksmith in 1841
Elizabeth Rendall  wife born Hewish, Somerset in Mar 1788
Lost ! Hopefully in Allington or Bridport
I've found Rendall spelt Randall, Rendle and Rendell. Thank you in anticipation.   ;) Jan

Hi janan,

you missed one   ;D
I found RENDALL and RENDAL when I was looking on Dorset OPC for a query from tioman !

It's a pity that Dorset OPC site doesn't do soundex searches !

there are three possible hits for "william rendall 1851" (Search: Find ALL words) on Dorset OPC but they don't look like "your" william, but have a look, you may recognise some of the other names.

Good luck
Bob

Hi Bob,
Yet another spelling  ??? Thanks for your suggestion, but I've already trawled the excellent Dorset OPC site and found the family in 1861. They are definitely in Allington in 1851. I have  found  them by searching  Family History Online, but  unfortunately there's no facility to search for households so don't know who else might be  living with them  :(. Haven't located Charles and Elizabeth senior at all  as yet, despite members of this wonderful board looking in Devon and Somerset where they were most likely to be  :-\ Cheers anyway  ;) Jan
