Seeking information about the following - there is not much to go on - though any help would be appreciated.

Bridget Bergin (maybe Bargin / Berrigan)
was born about 1835 - Gowran, Kilkenny.
Her parents names were - John & Alice.

Bridget mirgrated to Australia in 1853.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you

Hello...

I saw your post on the Kilkenny page and thought that I would try and help you out in some way...I found one birth for a Bridget Bergin with the parents being John and Alice. I also located births for 4 other children born to them:

Bridget Bergin 1835 Gowran, Co. Kilkenny (from www.rootsireland.ie)
James Bergin 1837 Gowran, Co. Kilkenny
Mary Bergin 1842 Gowran, Co. Kilkenny
Edward Bergin 1845 Gowran, Co. Kilkenny
Patrick Bergin 1850 Gowran, Co. Kilkenny

Could this be the father, John's death in Gowran:

John Bergin 1889 Co. Kilkenny

The surnames, which I am interested in are; Maternal side: Ryan, Kevin, Grant, Grady, Gleeson, Walsh, Dwyer, Paternal side: O' Dwyer, Woodlock, Rochford & Britton - all in Tipperary; and Kelly and Hoynes in Laois.
