Restore and date please

Please can anyone give an idea of the date of this photo and age of the ladies. My mother has just found it and has no idea who they are.The actual photo is about 3" x 2" and has Velox stamped on the back

I would appreciate any suggestions

Thanks for the lovely restore. I've just noticed the man's hat on the floor now you've cleaned it up. 

Hope if someone can date it I might be able to work out who they are.

Going by the style of hats that the women are wearing I would suggest a date period of between 1925 and 1935.
The car looks like, although I am not saying that it is, a 1928 Sedan, and although Velox photographic paper was invented in 1893 (by Leo Hendrik Baekeland the inventor of Bakelite) it was being used by Kodak Eastman in 1923.

Thank you Old Rowley - very interesting info. I'm off to search for pictures of a Sedan to compare . My mother thinks it is possibly her grandmothers sister, so those dates could fit.

Not sure now if the lady on the right is the person I thought she was. I have attached a photo of her in 1949. Any opinions welcome to decide if this could be the same lady
