MEADE, Catherine is my great great grandmother...she was born 1810 in Drumcondrath, County Meath. she married Patrick CURTIS 1835 in Drumcondrath Catholic Church.. He was from Aclint townland ..Phillipstown.. County LOUTH. They raised children:
Bernard, Mary, Anne, Catherine, James (my great grand father),
Patrick , Jr., Thomas, Edward, and Michael in Aclint, Cty Louth on a flax farm. They came to USA through Castle Garden May 26, 1863... farmed in Madison county, Iowa.. and also Adams county, Iowa.. Catherine & Patrick are buried in Creston, IOWA
