Hi I am looking for information about Israel Short and Mary Elliott. and their Children

They sailed on the Corona  and arrived in Port Chalmers on the 28-8-1874.

and settled in Wedderburn. 

My ancestor is Eliza Francis  their daughter.  I have some info on her but none for her siblings.

Just for starters, try PapersPast website ... several hits for "Israel SHORT".

Actually, there are two conflicting reports re: death of wife Mary ... died 6th OR 7th July 1908 ... aged 73 OR 78   ??
(Probably just "typo's") ?

William Elliot probate. Place Wedderburn, he was a farmer. Death date is 20 Sept 1910. Archives Reference is DAAC 9075 D239 1042, Probate reference is 1042. Held at Dunedin Archives.

A marriage for Israel Short was on May 9th 1858, Dorset, England, Reference: CTF02733. NZSG Certificates Collection Entry.

There is a Death for an Israel Short April 4th 1912, North Otago Death Record. P 181, Inquiries to Oamaru Branch NZSG

There is a birth entry for a Thomas Short 17 June 1878, born in Eden Creek, Otago. Parents are Mary and Israel Short. NZ Certs Collection ref: CTF02733

Also to whom do I write to get access to death records at Oamaru.

There are burial details for  Thomas and Jessie , Thomas's age matching the 1878 birth. http://www.dunedin.govt.nz/facilities/cemeteries

Description:    The collection is a set of pedigree forms relating                        name, date and event of that person.
There is usually information held in the collection that is shown in the index.
A person needs to be a current member of the NZSG in order to obtain this further information. As I'm not a current memebr, someone else maybe able to help you with this inquiry.
