George Sampson married Julia Connelly ca 1830. They had at least one child, Maria (my gr gr grandmother - photo attached). Maria was born 17 March 1834 in Co Clare. She died in Melbourne (Aust) in 1923. It would appear that Maria came to Australia on her own on an assisted passage on the Thames in 1855 – possibly to be a domestic servant.
I have no records for Maria's parents or possible siblings and any information greatly appreciated.
