Daren,

These are my Tuckers - Job Senior is my Great Great Grand Uncle - I descend from his younger brother John who came to America in 1851 and then traveled across country to the gold fields of California and then north to Washington Territory. John kept most of the letters he received from 1854 to 1899 from his other brothers Henry, William and his sister Sarah so I have quite a bit of information on the family. Reading these posts tells me what happened to one of his children! Job's first wife was Mary Connor, she died and his second wife was Ann Pink who also died and his third wife was Mary Ann Foot. I think he gave up after Mary Ann died. Job served on board ships during the Crimean War so he must have been a member of the Royal Marines. He was in artillery served more than 20 years and final took his pension. During the Crimean War he served onboard the Boyul and the Britannia.
