Henry Quilliam

Hello There

For months and months ive been trying to find my great grandfather but I just keep hitting brick walls.

I was told that he was from Peel but he later emigrated to South Africa.  Some of the records I have for him have his name as being Henry Carl Quilliam, others have it is Henry Charles Quilliam. I think the later is more likely though. I have worked out his date of birth is c1891.

When I applied for his Death Notice from South AFrica is said that eh was born in Johannesburg but this does not fit with what the rest of the family have always been told.

Ive tried to find him on the census, passenger records etc but no luck.

Is there anyone out there that mightbe able to help me solve my mystery?

Thanks

Michelle Quilliam

Hi

Thanks for that.  ive had a look but I dont think it can be him as it says his middle name is Walter and he was born about 10 years later than mine.

But thanks anyway.
