Just sharing some "odd" bits and pieces here, with you all. Today while I was on a certain fee charging family history website (Anc***********etc) I nominated that I was searching their Australian Collections. The following notice appeared:
" Most of these records are in the English language but there are also records in English.
For best results, you should first search using English words and location spellings. If you do not find what you are looking for, try using English."
Perhaps that website has gremlins in its works at the minute! Perhaps the gremlins are busy with English tasks, perhaps they think that because I speak Australian I cannot read English. Oh well, tis all semantics to me.
