Hi Amanda - you really are an absolute star - thank you so much.  It's very useful indeed, I think I can now get my Emmanuels and Alfreds tied down a bit better.  Are you related to Brittania Webb by any chance?  Lovely name - and according to one site I've seen she was nicknamed Popsey'
Thanks again - and if I can repay the favour in any way; please let me know.
Sue

Hi, am looking for any results on my dads side as he told us nothing when we were growing up but would like to know. He was born Frederick John Buckley 1936 in rochford and I believe his father was Elijah. Don't know his mothers name as she died young, but there was an auntie Mary smith. I know vague but that's all I've been told. Can you help at all??
  Thanks

Ive made some fascinating progress thanks to this site.
My grandfather was Elijah buckley but started life as Elijah smith b.1902 And through help have managed to track that he married Elsie Martland but I cannot trace a DOB or place of birth for this woman..I mean today i found that I ( if still alive) had 2 extra aunties and an uncle but stumped on her..They were married in 1931 Rochford. Elijah has been recorded BMD but not Elsie.
 Any ideas would be appreciated.

 Thanks
