Hi

I have been trying to trace my dads family, and I have recentley found out that my Gt Grandad had a half sister that lived in a castle! on Alderney ( apparantley she was a wealthy woman) My Dad and his brothers and sister used to visit her when they were younger, so I would imagine that this would have been in the late 50's early 60's.

My Gt Grandads name was  Arthur William Read he was born 1906 and his dads name was Walter Edwared Reasd I beleive , He is beleived to be the father also of a lady named i have been told AUdrey (but I think may be Hannah who is mentioned above). Hannah was a result of Walters first marraige and I beleive her mum may have died during childbirth as she died the same year that Hannah was born.
I know this is not a lot of information to go on but if any one could help me find more details It would be most apprecciated.
