i think joseph and mary ellen both died in 1892 easington
in 1891 the family were living at 19 villiers st easington
 children were
robert corney PESCOD b 1873 poss m mary blackmore 1897

william 1873 poss m amelia shaw 1899

 joseph c 1875 poss m mary shepherd 1899

jane mead pescod 1877 ( which is a strange name seeing jane mead was the name of elizabeth watts mother and eliz m william pescod a cousin of joseph unless ive got this bit mixed up)

On the 1891 census entry there is no middle name shown for Jane. She is listed simply as Jane Pescod.

I think that she married John Henry Shaw in 1898 and that this is them ....

If anyone's got any further with this (Pescods in Murton), I'd be interested. Joseph Pescod (born 1875/6) was my great grandad, and Mary (nee Shepherd) my great Grandma. Their daughter Olga was my grandma.
Really weird that we didn't know anything about other Pescod lines in Murton, but it looks like there were loads.

ties in with the Dec 1877 birth registration with mothers maiden name Watts

both in Sunderland Durham registration district

Your Jane was registered under Prescott Jun 1877 Easington mothers maiden name Corney
