1 Lorne Place Leith Midlothian
« on: Wednesday 24 December 08 14:59 GMT (UK) »
I have found a photograph albeit farly modern of Lorne Street   on the streets of Edinburgh  site, could anyone tell me if  Lorne Place  would have been near ?
A family member    William Shearlaw lived there with his family on  the 1901 Census he was a Dock Labourer .
 Thank you

It would not be proper not to send an image of Lorne Place.  Attached is a view of the street - only three main doors and No.1 is beside the "white van" thus not allowing a decent view.    Top of the picture on the left.
