Hi Richard,

I think the school may have been known as Bishop (Somebody)'s School. I was able to find a Bishop Foy's School but unfortunately it wasn't in Tramore ...
it was in Waterford and later about half a mile or so out of Waterford during its two hundred and sixty year history. It opened in 1707 and closed in 1967.

I tried the online catalogue of the Waterford Library but it contains no reference to a Bishop's School at Tramore.

there's a 'Bishop Foy School' in Waterford .. not sure if it's city or county...

sometimes using wildcard search in google can help these kinds of searches - e.g. try  : "bishop * school" +tramore +waterford

the quotes ensure that it searches for bishop something school, plus the other keywords
