Hi Alison
This has been bugging me overnight, so had another look at the Abingdon PRs. The CD is not quite as straight forward as other parish registers and I found a section "unchecked" in which is a list of other bmds that are obviously not as far through the transcription process as others but luckily still able to be published.

1841 census
Richard Badcock, 45, listed in St Helens parish of Abingdon, draper, with Joses Badcock 21, draper, Edith Badcock, 7. All born in county.
Pane Badcock, aged 15 (rounded down to nearest 5 in 41 census) listed in Suffolk as a draper in the household of Edward Corder also a draper, not born in county. If you look at the original it looks like Pane is a mistranscription of Paul.
