My Grand dad

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I am going to give it a try, I am pulling my hair out trying to find out where and when my late grandfather died, I have searched everywhere I can possibly think, I have the following information on him ;
He was born JAMES SLATER CHADDERTON in 1891 FARNWORTH BOLTON LANCASHIRE to JOHN CHADDERTON and ELLEN SLATER , on 4 JULY 1913 , he came to CANADA, on 1 AUGUST 1914, he married my grandmother GRACE WHALLEY, they had a child my father, HARRY CHADDERTON on 27 june 1917,I believe that the marriage did not work as my grandmother returned to england in 1919, with only harry,( to bolton actually, 137 cannon or common street ,,,,, she was born in burnley) JAMES RETURNED TO ENGLAND ON 8 NOV 1920. GRACE RETURNED , AGAIN WITH JUST HARRY IN 1927.  HAVE NO OTHER INFO ON JAMES SLATER CHADDERTON AFTER HIS RETURN IN 192

Oddly enough, I have all teh information on my grandmother as well as all the siblings of james including their marriages and their childrens marriges up til 1949.

The only thing I am missing is james death information, if anyone out there can help , I would be forever grateful
