I have found Fuller on IGI definitely Wilmerson, parents John and Hannah, there are loads of other Wilmersons in that area though!
I have to go out now, but there is a lot to be getting on with,
Thank you Tati for all your help

Yes, he's Fuller Wilmerson in 1851/1861/1871 and at 1st marriage; Williamson in 1841, 1881, 1891, 1901, at 2nd marriage and at death.

Quite confident it's the correct family then  :)

I have decided that Maria had only just had her daughter (under 1 month) and her sister was looking after her.  They had sent Henry away to lodge and the new baby had not been christened, Mary Ann becoming Sarah Ann at a later date. I can't find any baptisms for either.
In what month was the census taken in 1851? Sarah Ann was registered in the Sept quarter.

Hmmm. The census was taken on 30 March 1851 - too early for a registration in the September quarter  :-\

I know much about the Wilmersons / Williamsons. I am a direct descendant of John Wilmerson b 1791 and his wife Hannah.
Thomas Wilmerson 1816 - 1895
Mary Ann Wilmerson b 1844 - 1929 - my great grandmother.
I am trying to find out more about Fuller Wilmerson / Williamson 1833 - 1912. I have found his first marriage in 1858 to Louisa Humphrey 1838 - 1896 but do not know if Fuller Wilmerson b 1866 was his son.
Fuller Williamson was in prison in Portsmouth according to the 1881 census. Trial on 1/4/1878 and imprisonment on 2/8/1878. There is also reference to a trial on 1/7/1857 followed by imprisonment. Does anybody know what he did?

Here is my information on Maria Wilmerson and Henry Walls:
They married in 1848. Maria was born at Stanfield, Norfolk. She was baptized at St Margarets, Stanfield on 26/4/1829 and died at Haslingden, Lancashire in 1897.

Henery and that's the way its spelt in the 1881 census had the following family:
Ann Maria born at Colkirk and baptized at St Marys, Colkirk on 29/8/1849.

Elizabeth - baptized 11/5/1853 - St Marys

James 1856 - born Colkirk

Robert 1859 - born Colkirk

Harrey 1862 - born Norfolk - Married Elizabeth Taylor born 1867. He died at Haslingden in 1924 age 62.
One son, Harry, born 1889 at Haslingden, Lancashire

John William 1865 - born Newchurch, Lancashire

Annie Mary 1872 - born Newchurch - married Abraham Rawlinson 1870 - 1921 and had at least six children.

Samuel Walls 1875 born Newchurch and married Mary Ashworth. They had at least five children.

The family address in 1881 was - Booth Fold, Newchurch, Lancashire.

I cannot find any trace of Walter born at Whissonsett. he must have died young.

Hope this helps.
