A wonderful surprise!

To all of you who helped me find the family of John Wise in South Australia about this time last year. Thank you! 

I received a Christmas card this morning from his Great Great Grandaughter (she lives on the Adelaide outskirts) with the news that her son will be sharing information with me in the New Year.  I had contacted many people who might have been her and now I have found her.  I am so pleased - a lovely late Christmas gift. 

So to anyone getting fed up with brickwalls and dead ends just stick at it!  You never know what is round the corner.

Abiam it was an interesting journey for all of us who helped you....especially the history of former neighbours of our old farm property on the south coast of South Australia...along with the history of the area.

I echo your thoughts on 'sticking with it'

Well done Abiam. A similar thing happened to me this time last year. We have now met our rellie in the flesh and are in regular contact. Well worth it!
