i know that you know all this but had to look
Thought the 1901 might help with immigration dates, but were they thinking when they came to Manitoba? 1878? No, I see they were still in Ontario for 1881...
http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/census/ViewFrame.jsp?id=64794&highlight=33
and the 1911 isn't legible for date of immigration anyway..
http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/census11/SplitView.jsp?id=64989
Plus her D.O.B. is listed as July 12 which conflicts with July 30th and the IGI christening of July 02  :-X
It does, however give a middle initial "P"
You can check the naming sequence or any hints from children's names (William, Ellen, John, Richard, Mary & Elizabeth ...last 3 ring a bell, although common...

also found nothing in Castle Gardens database to match the Mary in 1865....Nor a Jane...phooey! J.J.

Hi Kilty,

The information JJ put up from the Toronto Immigrant Office it says that Mary Graham with a 2nd person were headed to Barrie (Barrie, Ontario).

I notice that even though Jane married James Dickie in Toronto, Ontario, her residence is Floss Township, which is Simcoe County, just outside Barrie.

There is a marriage in Flos Township for Elizabeth Graham, parents William Graham and Jane Gowanlock in 1870 to James Harvey from Co. Down, Ireland.  The witnessess are Jame Dickie and Richard Graham.  Do you have this marriage?

Just looked for the death on Fam Labs... Mar. 8 1880 and her birth date is out by a lot as they say she was 57 years?
She was only 33.... must have died in/after childbirth...

Thanks Karen,  for confirming the immigration date for two of them, anyway!

age conflicts if sister: Mary Graham  age 31 b. Scotland
James Graham  26 -b. Scotland occ.Farmer
William Graham age 24 - b. Scotland occ.Carpenter

o.K. I found a Richard in 1901 who matches the date of birth in the SUBMISSION...which means, who knows if it is right...so will just add a link to it...He may just be a cousin, so needs to be confirmed
http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/census/View.jsp?id=103773&highlight=1&desc=1901+Census+of+Canada+page+containing+Richard+Grahm
He also says he came over in 1882, which somehow can't be right as the first child is born in April 1882.

Checking the Toronto Immigrant office an R. Graham did come over in 1882... :D

O.K. here we go a marriage on June 8, 1881 Medonte, Simcoe
Richard H. GRAHAM age 30 a farmer born in Scotland (resides Flos) parents - William & Jane GRAHAM
married Agnes RITCHIE age 21  (resides Flos) parents - John & Jeanie RITCHIE
witnesses were William GRAHAM & Jeanie RITCHIE both of Flos.
