Hi,
    I am looking for any descendants of either Maud or Thelma Irwin who were born in the 19xxs to William Oliver Irwin and Ethel may Holledge. Thelma was born in Cunnamulla, Queensland and William Oliver was born in Co. Londonderry, N. Ireland. I have information on the N. Ireland connection.

and as to William Oliver I did not know where he came from

Hi, Maud Grenville Irwin married Steven Wallis Fountain in 1919 ref no 1904/C1924.

There is no marriage listed prior to 1934 cut off for a Thelma Irwin unless she was Daphne Thelma, in which case she married. Reference no 1931/C2992 Leslie George Peek.

There is a Bi-Monthly (5th June 1914) Electoral list of persons appearing to be qualified to vote in the Electoral District of MERTHYR

I believe that these are new roll members for MERTHYR in June 1914.

Irwin, William Oliver, 28 Ivory St, Engine Driver, (Qualified to be on this roll 27th April 1914)

(Ivory St Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, which was in the ED of Merthyr).

I am a granddaughter of William Oliver and Ethel May Irwin. Thelma and Maude are both deceased,  as are all of William and Ethel's children. My father was Oliver Irwin, their 2nd son.
