Hi :)

My gt gt uncle, J T Neal(e), kept 'The Vaults' public house in Welshpool.

I noticed, on an Internet board, that this pub is now closed.
Does anyone know when it closed, please, and what is there now?
It's quite a while since I visited Welshpool.
 
I also saw a photo of a Welshpool pub called 'The Castle Vaults'.
Does anyone know if it is the same place?

The Vaults pub was situated in Broad Street Welshpool, next to the junction for New Street.  It is now a One Stop newsagents and post office.  It closed in the early 1990's.

(my partner says id definitely watched the 1990 world cup in there).

I think there is a castle Vaults in Newtown.  If you would like me to take a photo of the Onestop building for you feel free to ask.

Hi everyone my aunt was landlady of the vaults welshpool, unfortunately both her and my uncle have died, they were charlie dorricott and mary nee hodges ,does anyone remember them ?
