I am Karon's eldest daughter Jade.

I cannot message you privately through the website though cause i couldn't work out how having only joined today. However i know if you message me i can reply.

To cut a long story short i am trying to put together our family tree although Great grandad did make it somewhat more difficult, so any information you could provide me would be brilliant

And also i am trying to track down which medals he was awarded in ww2 if you know it would be great if you could let me know.

I believe this man to be braver than we'll ever know or ever priviliged to find out. 

I know there are other family issues and opinions, but we must remember this was war time.  There is no excuse for the cause and effect of war.

I guess we had to be there to really know the truth and I don't believe any of us are brave enough to go there.
