I cannot find William Connick on the 1901 census .
I have found ? father William  aged 31 Collier
                     ? Mother Gwenllian aged 37
                       Siblings ?
                       Mary Gwen 4 years born Onllwyn
                       Issac 4 months         "
                       Eleanor 2 years         "

I have William ( as above aged 31 ) and his ancestors
A William Connick  born 1894married to Rosanna Evans  June 1920
and thier 9 children.

I am unable to connect William born 1894 with his parents.

William Conick aged 6 and an Issac aged 8 described as Nephew on the 1901 census.

The address looks like Neath Road Resolfen - thats the parish Neath
Onllwyn is a village close to Neath

I would suggest you obtain the birth certificate for William to tie him to William Connick and assume Williams Mother would be Gwenllian nee Jones
