WYATT Wm & Hannah 1851 census
« on: Saturday 10 January 09 00:09 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I am looking for William WYATT b about 1805 in Charlton, Northampton and his wife Hannah ( nee WORRELL) b 1806 Kineton, Warwick. They have 2 daughters  - Mary b 1836, and Sarah b 1845 and a son William b 1841 - in Claydon, Banbury. I have the family in 1841, but not 1851.

I am aso looking for Ruth Matilda WYATT in 1871 if anyone can help - her parents, Wm WYATT and Annie are there with baby daughter Mercy Albina, but no sign of Ruth b 1868 Claydon.

Wm & Annie went to NZ in 1875 and died 1904 and 1903 in Hamilton, NZ. Ruth also died 1904 aged 36.

Any help would be most welcome

Kind regards

Kiwi

Hello Heywood!

Many thanks indeed for all this wonderful information  - you are correct about Ruth in 1871 - her mother was Annie WOODS- so now I can start research on her line as I couldn't be sure about her parentage.

I have also just found Mercy's family in NZ thanks to Rootschat ...she had a number of children who I am about to track down !!

William, the father, was a shearer in NZ and his girls did well at school- I found some snippets on 'Paperspast' which opened up a whole new area of research..he bought some land so things picked up for them eventually.

Many thanks again
