Help with 1851 census - place name Leamington?
« on: Saturday 10 January 09 18:54 GMT (UK) »
There is an entry for Eliza Hasson (should be Watson) on the 1851 census in Leicester.
Class: HO107; Piece: 2090; Folio: 311; Page: 22; GSU roll: 87718.

Her place of birth has been transcribed as Leamington,  is there a Leamington in Derbyshire or what place is it?

Thanks

Angie

Hi Angie,

I don't think it looks like Leamington on the image. Maybe Tissington?  :-\

Here's genuki's list of places in Derbyshire
