SO perhaps a transcription error  and  the surname was Juchau,  it  would be easier enough  mistake to make

So  Jamjar and Terra have seen to have sorted  out  the maiden name for Sarah.  I  feel  it  does all  help  plus  you  always get people  just googling away  looking for ancestors  and  it will  only  lead more people to Rootschat.

As you say the Juchau side of the family is well documented ,the major difficulty has been to find a father for thomas sidney and his mothers maiden name.
