Hi Uncle Dave
Yes this could well be him as Ministers tended to move around a lot in those days
Do you know any more about him , such as family etc and age , mine was born in 1910
Thanks again
Eric

I was very young at the time so memory does not remember precise dates. However here goes, he married my parents in 1942 and my grandmother knew him well as she was the caretaker at Christ Church,Waterloo Road,Wolverhampton ( now demolished ) he left there late 40's early 50's and moved to be vicar of Blore with Calton in North Staffs-St bartholomews,Blore. I lost track of him when he moved late 50's (?) to Cambridge. Can I suggest you try The Lichfield Diocese as they must have records. I have a feeling he may also have been a vicar at a church in Stone Cross,West Bromwich. My memory of him is that he would be about the right age for your man.Hope this helps
