Trish!   Very, many thanks for your ultra-fast responses. I thought, perhaps, that my appeal would languish on these pages for months before anyone noticed it. I didn't expect an immediate reply! Since posting my appeal a couple of days ago I have done a little more "digging" and hope to link my Arlesey Coopers with the Henlow family.

I now live in Stotfold, which is only a couple of miles (3.2k) from Arlesey and three miles (4.8k) from Henlow. I am a fourteenth generation of my paternal line to have lived in Arlesey since the early 1600s, and, following some maternal lines, I go back at least another five geneations in the village to the late 1400s.

My great grandmother, Eliza Rook, was from Henlow, as was my 4x great grandmother, Elizabeth Seabright.
