Hi,

Thanks for looking at the image, I have only got the census print from the IGI, I will take a closer look when I go to the library. A new puzzle to answer is she visiting relatives ?

When you compare an O with an A in the enumerator's handwriting .. it definately looks like an A to me .. ?

I am not sure if this Dorothy was one of mine.  I have a 1901 census for a Frederick Skeath who had a daughter called Dorothy born about 1900, for the village of Braceborough. I will have to look to see where Ruskington is.

Interesting reading though.
