Help to find missing dates and family members

This is along shot, but im tring to find Thomas Hawkins.
Im told he either was from somewhere in Ireland or England.
I dont have any dates. I do know he had a daughter Ann Elizabeth Hawkins born 1891. Im not sure if Ann Elizabeth was born in Ireland, but i do know she moved to England around 1900. Ann Elizabeth Hawkins marriaged John Albert Rea. Im just more interested in finding who Thomas Hawkins married and birth dates.

Ann Elizabeth's birth certificate would give both parent's names, IF you can find it. 

DO you have her marriage certificate? If so, what occupation does her father Thomas have? Where did she marry?

What makes you think Thomas and Ann Elizabeth may have been born in Ireland? How do you know Ann Elizabeth came to England about 1900?

Have you found her in the 1901 or 1911 censuses?

Do you know if Ann Elizabeth had any siblings?

Unfortunately when researching we must purchase certificates and work back from that. Birth, death and marriage certs are important to find the right person, esp. with common names.

My Great Grandmother Gladys was Ann Elizabeth's daughter,
before she died she had told me a few things, one of them being either her Grandfather (Thomas Hawkins) or her Great Grandfather ? Im not sure which one. I tried census, I tried locatiing birth records for Ann Elizabeth, and Thomas Hawkins. I know Ann Elizabeth died between 1957 to 1960.
She died from clotting of the brain. I cant seem to locate and information on either of them, other then Ann, she came to Canada for a visit in 1956. Ann Hawkins did marry John Albert Rea, but I cant find him either...Maybe it was John Albert Rea that came from Ireland? There is a story in the family that John Albert Rea went missing in action, no body was ever found. I even tried to search gravesites but havent found anything. Most of the family does come from Bromsgrove England. I have come to a part where im stuck, and i think thats maybe where Ireland may come in??? I dont know where to go from here.

I suggest you buy marriage cert. From there hopefully you will have parents names etc.

I will see what I can find and send you a pm.
Irish research is incredibly hard. There is not much chance of help in Ireland unless you have specific info.
 When I /if I find info then you can post on relevant board and work backwards from there.

Gladys was born Birmingham england 1919 Feb 1.
She married Leslie Perks sept 12 1936 bromsgrove england.
I do have the list of Gladys's sisters, but no dates for them.

I have found birth of Gadys and siblings, quite a few of them.Unfortunately all after 1911 census and cannot post here as some could still be living. As Gladys is now sadly deceased can post her info.

Just "googled" Bromsgrove and it is 13 miles sth west Of Birmingham, so think we have right family.
