Chapel of Ease Bexleyheath
« on: Tuesday 20 April 04 11:05 BST (UK) »
I have an ancestor who is buried in The Chapel Of Ease, Bexleyheath. He is Edward Henry Bedford and he was buried on 5 May 1870.  I am wanting to know the monumental inscription on his grave.  Can anyone help? PLEASE.

hi,
there was an anglican church built in 1835,called the chaple of ease, but alas it is there no more.you could try the local studies centre at bexley heath, email address is
  archives@bexley.gov.uk
they might be able to tell you if there was more than one church with the same name

Thanks, I apreciate your reply.  Another person has gotten back to me, supplied pics etc and information. The Chapel of Ease is a cemetery that is no longer used and still has some monuments standing.  Unfortunately my gg grandfather's wasn't standing.
