Would it be possible for anyone to do me a look-up in the 1861 Edinburgh census please? I don't know if it is indexed or not.
I am looking for a Gallagher family who, according to birth certificates of their children, were living in 1861 at 42 or 62 Blackfriars, 10 Edinburgh High Street, Edinburgh. In 1859 their address is shown as 49 Blackfriars Walk, Edinburgh.
The family would be headed by a Thomas Gallagher and his wife Ann. I am desperately trying to find the age and birthplace of Thomas.
Can anyone please help.
