My G-grandfather was stationed at Longford with the 2nd Dragoon Guards during the census of 1881.
I know Irish records are limited, but does anyone have any thoughts on whether there would records from this time? Thanks.

Evans - Croydon/Berkshire
Rycraft - Croydon/Northants/Cambs
Davies - Glamorgan/Cardigan
Wigton - St Lukes, London

Hei,

The 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards Museum, Cardiff may be able to point you in the right direction.
