The Fatal Accident - St Giles Fair 1892
« on: Thursday 10 February 05 14:40 GMT (UK) »
I have finally found the article about my gt gt grandmother if anyone know how I could get a copy of the coroners report this would be very helpful as on the

1881 census she is called Ann Breakspeare

1891 census she is called Ann French

In the article she is called Alice Breakspeare and Mr French says she was unmarried, she had a son in 1881 aged 13 but no trace of him in 1891 or 1901 but i know he married in 1902 to a Selina Bridgwater in Oxford.

I can not find Ann or Alices  birth etc.

Please see the attached artle for the full editorial from the Oxford Times 1882.

Does anyone have access to the Jackson's Oxford Journal for September 1892 I am interested to see if the Fatal Accident story or report is in this newspaper.
