Who are parents of Joan PENROSE?

Joan Penrose marr Michael Lampier (b 20th Mar 1702 St Clement) in Ladock 5th Nov 1731. My 5 x GGparents.
Children to this couple
An 10th Jan 1732 St Erme
George 26th August 1733 St Clement
George 26th March 1735         "
Michael 27th Dec 1737             "
Richard 13th July 1741             "
Thomas 19th Feb 1744            "     (My 4xGGrandfather)

Who are Joans parents?

Online trees suggest Anthony Penrose and Bridget Trengrouse but I don't think thats correct......unless I'm missing something. The Joan Penrose listed to this couple on IGI also lists a death.
Richard Penrose m Grace French 16th Jan 1699 St Erme seems more likely as parents. Their Joan born 7th Nov 1700 St Erme.

Can any one help with this Penrose family line.

I took a look at my own Penrose records and at Ancestry.  The One World Tree and most of the family lines list Anthony and Bridget of Joan b. 1706.  I have a Penrose pedigree from the Cornwall Family History Society and I don't see Richard Penrose married to Grace French. 

I do see a lot of the same mistakes on Ancestry:  Thomas is always listed as born in 1764 instead of 1744.

If I may ask do you have a place of birth and date for Joan on the Penrose pedigree from the Cornwall Family History Society? Also a marriage place and date for Anthony and Bridget.
I see a marriage for them on free Cornwall Online Parish Records
Anthony Penrose m Bridget Trengrous 4th July 1703 Constantine.
A birth for Joan 20th July 1712 St Keverne
A death for Joane 19th Sep 1715     "

Also I see the marriage for Richard Penrose and Grace French 16th January 1699 St Erme on Cornwall free online records but no children listed there.
There are 6 children listed for this couple on I.G.I. all born St Erme starting with Joan 7th Nov 1700 but no marriage (these are all extracts.)
The first child to Michael Lampiar and Jone/Joan is An born 10th Jan 1732 St Erme (this is an extract from I.G.I.)  Also is closer to Ladock than St Keverne.

I took a look at everything I have in my files but I don't have anything to help you.  The Cornwall Society information I have is focused on the Redruth Penroses.  I suggest you send a message to Chris Penrose, who posts here.  He is far more knowledgeable than I am.  If he can't help, he might be able to put you in touch with someone who can.

Thanks again for your reply.
I did see the previous topic on Penrose and it did receive a lot of attention. I think I recall there was mention of a Penrose in St Clement where Michael Lampier and Joan had their children. I will try to contact Chris Penrose or some of the others to see if they know anything further about this line.

I can see that Anthony and Bridget had a Joan born/christ 20 Jul 1712 St Keverne Online Record
There is also a death for Joane Penrose 9 Sept 1715 St Keverne Online Record.
These events are confirmed on I.G.I. as extracts and are even on the same page.
So unless Anthony and Bridget Penrose had another child named Joan (which I can't find ) this is not the Joan married to Michael.
Even if they did have another child named Joan in say 1716 she would be quite young on marriage in Nov 1731 (although this would be considered of legal age.)

The children showing on IGI born to Anthony and Bridget are
Anthony Penrose b 25 Jun 1704 - Christ 16 Jul 1704 Constantine
Bridget Penrose b 17 Mar 1706 - Christ 12 April 1706 - Death 5 May 1706
Edward Penrose Christ  25 Feb 1708
Bridget Penrose Crist 2 Jul 1710
Joan Penrose Christ 20 July 1712 - Death 19 Sep 1715
Thomas Penrose Christ 29 Sep 1714       
All these entries are either St Keverne or Constantine.
All the Family Trees that I have seen have no verifiable references as to Joans parents so I think are perhaps just conclusions and not fact.

As for the two wedding dates for Michael I think its probably Banns and Marr.
