MARRIAGE LOOKUP C1862

Please can anyone help? find marriage of Charles UPTON b 1841 Northwold  to Mary (surname unknown ) b 1842 Gooderstone

Not been able to find the marriage but on the 1891 and 1901 if it's the same family they both fit in age with the 1881 census but they are named as CHARLES F UPTON and SARAH A UPTON

thanks very much,  Sarah ann upton was second wife (surname Billmen )  m 1889
so will have to keep looking for first marriage and mary's maiden name

Nothing FreBMDS, but used some of my credits and looked on 1837online

The only marriage for a Charles Upton, about the time, is
December Quarter 1863 4b 1029 SWAFFHAM

Also there is a birth for Rebecca Upton in the
March Quarter  1864 4b 417 SWAFFHAM

which looks like his and Mary's eldest daughter.

As I can't cross-check the marriage without Mary's maiden name, your best bet would be to send for a birth certificate for Rebecca, and you can always double check the marriage later.

Quoting the details I have given you, a cheque for £7.00 (made out to Norfolk County Council), and an S.A.E. you should receive one in about 7 days.
