Hi

I pm'd Newf with my details and he has found my birth reg - I have tried numerous times since he found it and have now finally found myself (as they say)

Initially - I used the full search facility on the home page and then selected 1916-2005 births

After Newf found me - I accessed England & Wales, Birth Index: 1916-2005 direct and still got no trace

My christian and surname were spelt correctly just as Newf found on the entry and I searched on all months and omitted the county but still got no trace

I decided to give it one last go - doing exactly the same as previously - and there I was!!

Another gremlin in Ancestry on my pc!!
